App Name: My Years Ago…

Description:

This FREE app helps you relive your favorite moments by showing you photos and videos taken on the same day in previous years. Simply choose a base date and set a year offset, and you’ll instantly see all your memories from that day in history. If you find some special moments, you can easily create a new album to keep them together.

Once your new album is created, you can view and edit it anytime in your Photos app. Keep in mind that albums in the Photos app are just collections of links to your original photos and videos – they don’t duplicate the actual files.

If you ever delete an album, only the album itself is removed; your original photos and videos stay safe and untouched in your library. This makes it easy to organize and enjoy your memories without worrying about losing your original files.

New features in Version 2:

My Album Creator is a new feature that helps you easily find, organize, and enjoy your favorite photo and video memories. You can select any days from a calendar, and the app will instantly gather all photos and videos taken on those dates. Browse your memories in a clear grid, and create custom albums from your selected moments with just a few taps. Albums can be grouped by special days, events, or any dates you choose.

Key features include:

(1) Selecting multiple days from the calendar
(2) Instantly viewing all photos and videos from those days
(3) Browsing thumbnails and viewing images or videos in full-screen
(4) Creating new albums from your selected memories in seconds

After creating an album, you can view and edit it anytime in Apple’s Photos app. Albums are collections of links to your original files, so deleting an album only removes the album, not your photos or videos.

In Apple’s Photos app, using “Remove from Album” just removes the item from the album but keeps the original file safe in your library. Choosing “Delete” will permanently remove the file from your library.

My Album Creator makes it simple to organize and enjoy your memories without worrying about losing your original files.
